Salute to Independence

The Salute to Independence celebration at Antietam has been a tradition for over 25 years. Each year about 30,000 people come to the battlefield to enjoy a concert given by the Maryland Symphony Orchestra (MSO) and a wonderful fireworks display. In order to continue this tradition, the MSO and Western Maryland Interpretive Association are trying to raise $50,000.
